Sites need to be regularly updated and maintained to keep them fresh and interesting to visitors - otherwise they won't come back. We will talk this through with you when deciding what updating schedule you might like to adopt.

For example, you might decide you want one major update per term (which is the standard request) - so a typical cost for this would be around £100 per update (where the resources such as text and images are supplied to us in some form of digital format - although - for local schools and nurseries - we can come down and take photos if required).

Lots of school now produce a weekly newsletter to keep parents updated to any forthcoming events or news worthy items happening in the school on a daily basis.

These newsletters can be easily added to the site in the form of PDF documents as and when required, and are useful to 'fill the gap' between the scheduled termly updates.

It's a simple process, so schools can if they want to, replace the PDFs themselves, or if you perfer, email the document to us and we'll upload it for you at no extra cost.

The prices quoted on the price guidelines page are based on schools using the "liverpool.org.uk" subdomain - this means that your school address would be "yourschool.liverpool.org.uk".

The benefit of this of course, is because you are sharing a large domain space with other schools we are able to keep the prices to indivdual schools as low as possible.

You can, of course, decide to have your own unique school domain - eg "yourschool.org.uk". Contact Trudy Burke for more details.

NB: All subdomain/domain and hosting costs are obviously annually recurring charges - typically £50 per year.
